Spirit Week!!!

The week of December 19 - 23 will be Spirit Week here at Carleton Heights!
Besides a 'Decorate Your Classroom Door' contest, here is what is happening during the week:
Monday and Tuesday, Candycane-o-grams will be sold (25 cents each, or 5 for $1).  They will be distributed on Thursday.
Tuesday is Pyjama Day!
Wednesday is Jersey Day - wear your favourite sports jersey!
Thursday the Candycane-o-grams will be distributed to classes and the 'decorate your door' contest will be judged.
Friday you are asked to dress in your favourite holiday colours!  (red, green, gold or silver).
It should be a fun-filled week - YAY Carleton Heights!

FREE! FREE! FREE! Family Movie Night

Friday, November 25th... Doors open at 5:15 p.m. for hot dogs and snacks!

Movie starts at 6:00 p.m. in the CHPS gym!

School Council is hosting a free Family Movie Night in the CHPS gym - bring blankets, cushions, even wear your PJs!

DESPICABLE ME is an animated comedy about a 'super villain' who tries to use three orphaned girls in a plot to steal the moon...but is surprised (and distracted!) when they treat him like a dad.

Doors open at 5:15 and the movie starts at 6:00 (Running time: 93 minutes).

Hot dogs, drinks and snacks will be sold prior to show time!  See you there!

November News...

Please join us for our Remembrance Day Ceremony in the gymnasium at 10:00 a.m.  There will be presentations by several of the classes, as well as wreath laying.

Report cards will go home today. 

Parent teacher interviews will be held Thursday, November 17 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Friday, November 18 from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.
As per the form that was sent home, you will be notified of your interview time if an interview was requested.

Just a note that next Friday, November 18 is a PD day, and there is no school for students.
